How Equalizer Score Works

Enter a Raffle

You start with an Equalizer score of 1.

Loss = Equalizer score increments to 2.

Win = Equalizer score is reset to 1.

Generate Entry Numbers

You get 2 numbers:

Number 1: a unique and random number

Number 2: generate N random numbers, where N is your Equalizer score. Select only the lowest number from this set.

Your final number is the lowest number between Number 1 & 2.

For example, if your Equalizer score is 40, you essentially get 41 numbers, and the lowest one is your final score.

Select Raffle Winners

For each size, the entries with the lowest final numbers for the available stock are the winners.

For example, if stock for Size 9.5 is 14 and had 1325 entries, the 14 entries with the lowest final numbers are the winners.

How This Raffle Simulator Works

When Equalizer Mode is On

  • Initially, all other entrants are mocked and assigned a size and random Equalizer score up to 50.
  • The size an entrant is assigned is based on the Raffle Size Entry Distribution option, ether on a bell-curve or even across sizes.
  • If you try for multiple raffles, the same group of entrants also try again for each raffle, and their Equalizer score will update too.
    • However, a random selection of entrants are assigned a random different size.
    • This is to randomize the number of entrants per size instead of having the same set for every raffle.
    • The remaining entrants try for their initial size.
  • Entrants with the lowest score for each size group are selected as winners based on stock available for that size.
  • All winning entrants get their Equalizer score reset to 1.
  • All losing entrants get their Equalizer score incremented by 1.

When Equalizer Mode is Off

  • All entrants are given a single random and unique number.
  • Entrants with the lowest score for each size group are selected as winners based on stock available for that size.
